Cranberry Chipotle Butter


  • 1 cup butter softened (2 sticks)
  • 4 oz Carr Valley Cranberry Chipotle Cheddar cheese shredded (1 cup)
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground chipotle chili pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Warm bread, corn bread, sweet potatoes, or dinner rolls


  • Beat the butter, cheddar, cranberries, honey and chipotle chili pepper in a medium bowl.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Shape cheddar mixture into an 8-inch long, round roll; tightly wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve butter with bread.
